Opticl fiber transport platform(OTN) |
|
|
|
 |
Description
OTN is an optical fiber based transmission system for voice, data,
LAN and video applications. OTN is the best structured solution for
large, private environments with mixed communication needs, such as
highways, city intelligent transport ( metros, light rails, transport
management etc ), power distribution systems, railways, pipelines,
airports, harbors and military and etc.
The OTN system works on the principle of TDM ( Time Division Multiplexing ). All traffic for voice, data, LAN and video are handled completely transparent for the higher levels of the protocols.
It can handle virtually all industrial physical interface standards for audio, high / low speed data, LAN and video. Interface cards are installed in the OTN nodes, and the distances between nodes range from a few meters to 110 kilometers. The length of an OTN network can exceed 2,000 kilometers.
OTN offers a completely integrated and transparent transmission platform to your organization in a campus or scattered area environment. It rings you the value-added centralized control of communications and information, enabling information exchange of different types on a single platform.
The facilities might inclued: PABX, Voice Communications, Computer Network, LAN, Video Surveillance & Switching, Variable Message Display, Public Addressing, External Alarm System, Remote Control System and etc.
